PROJECT: logo design

I came up with logo ages ago in college when I made custom t-shirts (I still do). I dusted it off when I began freelancing. From the beginning, I wanted the logo and type to compliment each other and to reflect the name, design asylum, in a stark and dynamic way -- distressed type, the building drawn with line variation and outlines/shadows. I was not going for edgy, grungy, or slick.
